Experience:

World Trade Center Advisors

Bill Browning performed ongoing work to help architects SOM and engineers Battle McCarthy create strategies for the first iteration of the new Freedom Tower, the centerpiece of new construction at Ground Zero in New York City. Bob Fox, at the request of Governor George Pataki, filled a separate role as a reviewer and green advocate for all new commercial construction near the former site of the World Trade Center towers. The purpose of this work was to ensure these new buildings would meet the state’s goal of achieving LEED Gold certification.

*Work performed by Bill Browning in affiliation with Rocky Mountain Institute and Bob Fox in affiliation with Cook+Fox Architects. Detailed Terrapin Case Studies are available in the Workroom, our private extranet full of detailed information and resources to help you make an informed decision.
