The Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) has recognized “The Economics of Biophilia“, published by Terrapin in 2012, as being “a contribution or achievement that advances the field of environmental design research through the generation of knowledge, public service, or professional practice, for coherent recognizable body of work or activities by an individual or group”. The 2014 EDRA Achievement Award was presented to Terrapin at the EDRA Awards banquet on May 31, 2014 of the 45th Annual EDRA Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sally Augustin was kind enough to receive the award on Terrapin’s behalf.
Terrapin would like to thank Sally Augustin, Sue Weidemann, and Richard E. Wener, as well as Rick Fedrizzi, for their support and nomination that was identified by the EDRA Board of Directors and Awards Committee “a compelling case of its contribution to the environmental design research field”.
