New Biophilic Design Course with Living Architecture Academy

The Living Architecture Academy is now offering an online Biophilic Design course. Developed by Terrapin, Biophilic Design: Science, Theory, Economics & Practice is an hour-long course that explains the human connection to nature within the built environment. The course explores the main tenets of biophilic design, including the scientific foundations of biophilic design theory and current research. Using case studies of best practice, the course also discusses the application of biophilic design and using the 14 Patterns of Biophilic Design as a tool. This course is intended to help design and planning professionals understand the impact of biophilic design on human health and productivity, as well demonstrate as how these elements can be incorporated into built environments.
Living Architecture Academy is the online education resource from Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. The Living Architecture Academy is dedicated to bringing you the best, most up to date professional training information on design, installation and maintenance practices of living architecture.
This course is approved for 1 Continuing Education Credit for Green Roof Professionals (GRPs).
