Our partner, Chris Garvin, presented at the Risk & Value Creation Forum in Mountain View, CA on the 24th of April. The forum, which Terrapin Bright Green was a sponsor of, centered around finance innovation informed by nature’s strategies, including risk management strategies and value creation opportunities afforded by using models found in nature. Chris spoke on a panel about asset protection, along with Prof. Francesco A. Schurr from the University of Liechtenstein, Michael Brownrigg, Councilmember & Former Mayor, City of Burlingame, and Eva Willmann De Donlea, Director Sustainability Intelligence P/L and former Chair of The Climate Council. Chris focused his discussion around increasing regional resilience for New York City.
Terrapin Bright Green also brought a technical team to the forum. The team pitched their biomimetic technology to potential investors.
