GHG Building Retrofit Study Awarded 2017 ACEC of NY EEA

We are proud to announce that the GHG Building Retrofit Study, led by HDR, has been awarded Platinum recognition in the category of Studies, Research and Consulting Engineering Services in the 2017 ACEC of New York Engineering Excellence Awards. The HDR team, which included Terrapin Bright Green, Code Green, Jon Dickinson, AccuCost and CSA Group, identified greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies for New York City’s building sector to support the city’s emission reduction goals of 30% by 2025 and 80% by 2050. This technical study supported the One City: Built to Last Technical Work Group.

The goal of the ACEC of New York Engineering Excellence Awards is to convey to the engineering and construction industry, government officials, and the general public the contributions that consulting engineering firms make to society and their local communities through exceptional design.
