Our partner Bill Browning will be heading out to Los Angeles to present at Boutique Design West, a trade fair and conference focused on hospitality design. He’ll be speaking on the panel session “Downtown Funk: The Forces, Facades and Fashion-Forward Interiors Revitalizing Central Los Angeles” on March 31st. Bill will be joined by Olivier Sommerhalder who is a principal at Gensler and Roger Sherman who is the Senior Project Director of Planning and Urban Design at Gensler. The panel will be moderated by Lorraine Francis, who is the Regional Director of Hospitality Interiors at Gensler.

Bill will specifically discuss how biophilic design can be applied to hospitality design. Especially since biophilic design boasts human health and wellbeing benefits, including stress reduction and improved emotions and mood, it is gaining interest within hospitality design circles where the guest experience is paramount.
